About Us

Our History
4Damani was created by Crystal-Gayle and Miguel Williams in OctoberΒ 2018, after experiencing the death of their first child, Damani, in SeptemberΒ 2018.Β After recognizing how unmentionable baby loss and grief are in Jamaica, coupled with the lack ofΒ support and resources, 4Damani was established to acknowledge and support grieving parents, in honour of their son.
The aim of 4Damani is to break the silence and stigma surrounding pregnancy and infant loss in Jamaica, by sharing stories, so persons know theyβre not alone.
This topic doesnβt get enough recognition and is unmentionable in many cultures, including our own. This isnβt a club no parent should have to join, but if you have found yourself here, please read our story, those of others and be comforted that you are not alone. If you would like to receive support, pleaseΒ contact usΒ for more details.Β
